Trainer, Hugo Palmer says “He’s A Gentleman is an old friend of ours and has been in the yard for a few years. He is a tough, consistent horse, who goes well on the AW and most grounds on turf. He has been running particularly well of late and has two wins on the board for the club so far. He is a really fun recruit and can hopefully he can pick up some more victories for the Michael Owen Racing Club.”

Trainer, Hugo Palmer says “Rose Donnelly is an impressive-looking, powerful filly and is by the fast Galileo-line stallion Massaat, who was second in the 2016 2000 Guineas, before going on to win the Hungerford Stakes. She is out of the Ishiguru mare, Trixie Malone, which makes her a half-sister to the prolific winner Roman Dragon. She shows a lot of similar traits to him at this early stage of her career. “

HUGO PALMER
Hugo started training at Kremlin Cottage Stables in Newmarket in 2011. He trained 499 winners from this base, both in the UK and abroad including Group 1 and Classic winners, Covert Love & Galileo Gold.
Hugo moved to Manor House Stables in March 2022 and brought with him Group 1 winner Ebro River and Group 1 second Dubawi Legend.
Hugo’s first season at Manor House saw 44 winners sent out from the stable. The 2023 season so far has been a great success, including a Group 3 win for Flaming Rib and Listed success for yard stalwart, Rajinksy. Hugo is also the current leading trainer at our local track, Chester.
